What We Do
FLOW (Future Leaders Of the World) intends to produce a series of educational “ice breakers” to assist educators in teaching sensitive health topics such as abuse, HIV issues, bullying, and coming out.
— Our Mission
With our projects, we aim to bring together health and film professionals to stem the tide among adolescents in reported STD and HIV cases.
— Who Are We
On the Move Productions has teamed up with the Division of Adolescent Medicine at the University of Miami to focus on health prevention.
South Florida leads the nation in many issues such as STDS and HIV.
F.L.O.W will take young people’s stories and bring them alive in the form of a professional film. They will be used by educators and parents as an educational-icebreaker for many sensitive health topics.
— Why We Do It
The F.L.O.W. Project will serve as a community catalyst.
By bringing together youth, film professionals and educators we firmly believe working towards a common goal that any issue can be met head on and bring about positive change.
The South is disproportionately impacted by HIV.
- There were approximately 25,651 people living with HIV in Miami, Florida in 2018.
- Adolescent Counseling and Testing Services (ACTS) is the expert in the field of HIV for youth
